If you have ever had the fortune of traveling in the Mediterranean,  you understand the thrill you feel when you first set your eyes on the color of the ocean.  If you have never been, photos and paintings can hardly do justice to that vibrant blue with the power to hypnotize. 
I was recently fortunate enough to travel to Greece with a group of old friends.  I had never been before and was continually mesmerized by its beauty.  This painting is from a photo I took as we arrived at the island of Poros, in Greece.  I felt compelled to try to capture it in a painting.  This is a signed print of the original piece of art.
